The nickel plated sear spring is also regarded as a "match" flat spring as it will improve the feel and "smoothness" of the feel when pulling the trigger as it takes up some of the gritty feel. A great improvement and upgrade to any HK pistol. This is a common wear and replacement item on your HK pistol. A great spring to have on hand as they are not common or repairable.A must have upgraded part to replace the stock "black" flat spring with the Enhanced Match Flat Sear spring. I?ve used this plated spring in a USP, USPc and a VP9. The plated surface definitely smoothed the sear action in all of them. Absolutely worth the trouble to tear down the gun & install.

This spring noticeably improved the trigger pull. The nickel plating makes it much smoother than the stock spring. Depress the tab on the old spring to remove if it doesn't just fall out. Pair it with the SRT kit and lighter hammer spring for a very buttery trigger pull (flat shoe optional). Best of all, it's an inexpensive part.

H&K Quality is like a high-performance vehicle that is built like a tank. But like the brakes on your car, the sear spring is a wear and tear part. I have replaced both on my US P45 and my P30L. The result is a smoother trigger pull with less gritty feel.
