Heckler and Koch HK G36 Catch, Trip Lever for bolt catch contact on All G36 Lowers
As the bolt carrier moves forward the bottom of the carrier contacts the releaser lever of the catch. The catch releases the hammer, and the hammer begins to fall forward.
