Best mp5 brace for the money
I have this and the M4 style braces for my Zenith MP5 clones. This one has the best feel and fit for me and felt like I was shooting my mp5 sbr with the factor telestock. But since this isn't a stock you don't need permission to cross state lines. The M4 style stock is definitely more adjustable but felt like a toy to me while this felt more like the actual stock and is a slightly bit more compact than the M4 style. I would definitely buy more of these for future pistol projects. While I have never been a fan of the braces I have several of the SB Tactical braces for various types of full sized pistols. I typically will replace the various factory braces and replace them with an SB Tactical races because the look the best, feel the best and are generally more stable than the other guys making them. I found that most of the Sig braces to feel awkward and sloppy. But I do like the fact that they use a Pic rail instead of the typical buffer tube and castle nut setup t&ats common for many companies to use. IF you are on the fence on what version to get? I can say that I love mine and sticks to the original design and it is a clean fit that looks amazing. I typically find that the braces are just ugly to me but this style just looks good and natural. Along with feeling like the actual stock when briefly shouldered. And feels natural when around the arm. I love my brace and have a few of them. If you order this one you will probably love it. If not then exchange it for the other style brace. I got mine a few months before the covid lock down bs and have put around 5k rounds through the pistol with the brace and have had zero issues with the brace but I did have issues with a couple of polymer magazines with the springs and feed lips . But thats not a brace issue. So give it a try you will love it.

Amazing product, fits well on my Century Arms AP5. Easy to install, although a rubber mallet is advised to use to fit in snuggly onto the frame. Overall, a nice clean look and must have for any MP5 and their clones.

Fits my ap5 out of the box without any modifications to the rubber buffer that some people have recommended for an sp5 or zenith. I did scratch a little of the finish putting it on, it is a tight fit, but I love it and don't intend replacing it anyways so the small scratches are only visible when doing a field strip. I would definitely buy another!

Recently purchased a MKE AP-5. There are other clones and of course the H&K- BUT the H&K is not available unless your willing to part with your retirement! The MKE is a strong alternative. So, initially NO SB collapsing stocks were available ANYWHERE! However, HK Parts eventually came up and THEY HAD SOME! Purchased immediately (also purchased 2 H&K mags and one clamp). Shipping was fast. SB Tactical instructions can best be described as "sort of helpful"! Had to cut the rubber buffer to clear the "anti-full" steel block welded into the receiver. A motor tool solved the problem. Two small set screws are supplied to prevent "end cap tilt". These are hard to install and the allen wrench was a poor fit (set screws not of best quality). These will work out- so a tad of Loctite Blue is desirable. Note- to do a neat job on cutting the buffer to fit the receiver- it is best to remove the buffer(four screws). The spring that holds the adjustment lever (length of pull) will then have to be reinstalled. It can be frustrating- but no big deal. Once installed the brace works fine, looks right and adds a lot to the weapon, without the hassle of NFA SBR intrigue.

SB has done it again with this one, mine went on in about 5 minutes from opening the box to finished install. My brace has no problem sliding right over the back of the frame on my SP5. No modification or screw removal necessary.

The SB brace is a great addition to the firearm. A little tight in a few spots, but overall is excellent. HK Parts once again just the best to deal with. Thanks!
