HK Contract 3 Point Sling - OD Green

It appeared stitched correctly but needed some ends burned as threads were dangling. The strap was hot dressed to prevent fraying. It seemed to be shorter than I recall for the 91/93 and more like MP5 length. If you are a "bigger" build, this may not work for you. The rear sling attachment point was also too loose on the stock bar. It just slid on and off and did not snap. I will attempt to bend it a bit or will have to tape wrap the bar to get it to keep from falling off when it is not under a load. All said, this would have been okay at $30 but not so much of a deal at $50.

I really like the sling. The PTR-91 is a heavy gun, weighing 9 ibs. without the magazine, so a good sling is important. The different configurations of the sling make it especially great. There is the over the shoulder position, the ?briefcase? position, and than the front-sling position. There is another position, the ?backpack? position which didn?t seem to work out well with this sling, as there was not enough slack (or length in the straps) to easily accomplish that position, Nevertheless, the sling is very versatile and just what I need.

Lacking foresight, I wasted good money trying various slings on my PTR 91 GIR. Nothing really worked out, at least until I wised up and bought a sling that was designed for my rifle. Thankfully HK Parts had what I needed. Now I can sling my rifle. I really like my rifle, by the way, it deserves the appropriate sling.
