    USP 40 jet funnel

Posted by Bobby on 13th Jun 2024

I have had 2 of these that I have been using in a local evening club shoot for about 5 years now. After purchasing them I had moved to a 15 round state a few months later and at the time it had made it difficult to get more as I hadn't started competition shooting prior to that. I had considered removing the jet funnel base and actually did once or twice. I found that losing the balance of the added weight from the extra rounds and the ease of mag changes, was more beneficial than having an extra mag or two on me at the time. Both of my magazines have had roughly 2000 rounds through them and continue to function with no issues. I did replace both springs at around 1800 rounds. I didn't have a reason, I was just stuck indoors and felt like I had to do something. So they have been dropped in the gravel 100 times each at least and never gave up. I do have the extended mag release, and can confirm that it's a crap shoot if they will or won't run on that day. It was probably 80% success rate. And idk if I'm allowed to say this or not, but with only a simple modification they work and run flawless. Bought them from HK parts and service was excellent. I'm writing this because after 4 years no one else has and I moved and I'm on here ordering more.
