Replicate our custom in-house short reset conversion with a drop-in kit for your HK P2000 or P30 without a thumb safety. Cut from bar stock steel, these kits provide an exacting fit for easy install.

The kit shortens the reset travel distance by about one-third, reduces trigger over-travel and reduces pull weight while maintaining all factory safety functions. This kit is specific to the HK P2000 and P30 models without a thumb safety, including DA/SA, LEM variations.

The parts provided - control latch, extended sear roll pin and firing pin block spring are designed to be installed together as a complete system and all must be installed to function. Two variations available. One for DA/SA and LEM triggers, and one for those who have installed the HK 4.1 trigger system. Ensure you select the correct option.

Excellent improvement!

Installed on both a P30 and P2000. Very happy with this kit. It's well made and makes the reset what it should have been from the factory. Highly recommend!

Fixed one of the two biggest issues

The two big issues with this gun, Honestly the only two issues with this gun are the night sights are at best, Meh. And the trigger reset in Single action is ridiculously bad. This fixes the Trigger Reset. And I mean it fixes it. The original was so long that you could miss the reset in rapid fire because you were not used to releasing it the entire travel distance. Why would you? NO other gun requires that kind of travel. With this installed it's more a matter of relaxing the trigger until there is a tactile feedback of the reset. Installing is not for the faint of heart, but with a basic set of punches it is very possible for anyone with basic mechanical skills. I would definitely not only recommend this mod if I bought another P30 I would purchase and install this before firing it.
