This snap hook is the perfect size, 1.25", for my modern 1.25" sling. It plain and simple made it easy to hook up and use. It's so important to have a quick release connector on each end of the sling in case it needs to be removed quickly and easily due to possible injury, in addition to the normal convenience. Way to go, HK!! Great product!

This snap hook was everything I was expecting. Sturdy, good latch spring tension, fit my sling, and held up to me snapping it up and down a few times with my PTR-32 KFR. While the metal-on-metal contact may wear through the finish on the mount ring, maybe using a little electrical tape or some thick electrical shrink tubing over the hook could help decrease the wear rate over time to prevent corrosion.
