The finest mounting solution to properly mount your RDS on your MP5 or any other receiver that utilizes the same style mounting system. With our 3 piece optic mount, it makes installation a breeze. No need to damage your receiver by prying the mount off. Our mount is the perfect height to co-witness your RMR with your front sight post. 

The best solution for a quick red dot indicator and the ability to still be able to use the front sight post if the RMR fails. CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and Cerakoted for the best finish possible. Installs in a couple of minutes with the supplied hardware for a fast and easy installation.

The RMR Type 2 is designed with a patented housing shape that absorbs impacts and diverts stresses away from the lens to increase durability. It’s suitable for military, law enforcement, concealed carry self-defense, target shooting, and hunting applications. The battery powered LED RMR Type 2 features a sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the illuminated red dot based on ambient lighting conditions.

The 3.25 MOA dot in the RM01 is the most versatile and popular of all RMR dot sizes. The dot is small enough to allow accurate shooting at range while also being big enough locate quickly.

    Trijicon RMR on mp5

    Decent set up but there were a few issues. The dual claw mount will have lateral wiggle unless you shim it or do a JB Weld bedding. I chose to shim mine with 4 strips of bike tire inner tube and after trial and error found a shim pattern that nailed it. I no longer have any issues. 2 narrow strips cut long for and aft under the unit and trimmed to size after mounting and then wider pads under each claw mount finally fixed this issue. I do not like the auto bright feature on the RMR and swapped this unit out with a fully controllable RMR that I used to have on my Glock. For my preferences I found auto bright is always too bright for the current conditions. Using the controls on my old RMR highlighted the lateral shifting of the RMR on the gun.
