HKP HK MP5 Minimalist Picatinny Rail Optic Mount
Our new Picatinny style optic mount is a game changer for those who want a minimalist look on their MP5 or MP5K. You can have a Picatinny rail without compromising all the real estate that other low-profile Picatinny rail mounts take. This mount will accomplish a clean look to your prized build. With our Picatinny rail mount, you can add a riser that mounts to the 4-slot Picatinny rail section. A see-through riser would be the best option as that will allow you to use your red dot optic and your iron sights if the optic fails.
For those with a Picatinny rail mount adapter for red dot optics, you can achieve a 1/3 co-witness with this style optic mount if a riser is not desired.

Works great unless using a Scalarworks mount
I was going to use a Scalarworks mount with my Trijicon MRO sitting atop this mount. The issue relates to the tightening thumbscrew on the Scalarworks - with how this picatinny mount is designed with almost a flat shelf underneath instead of angling away like most others, you need about .5 to maybe 1mm extra to JUST clear the flat area. The stock Trijicon lower 1/3 cowitness mount works fine but doesn't look as cool (just being honest).

10/10 for size and build quality. 0/10 for not fitting a scalar works mount on top. The tightening wheel on a scalar works mount will NOT fit on this thing but my reptilia mount does so its great.
