I've got ogre sized hands, so the stock charging handle was a bit small. Like, grip it with two fingers kinda small. Slapped this in and I can grip it with three fingers now, it makes a world of difference in both ergonomics and effort required to charge the rifle. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

This went in a C308 that needed a bigger surface to grasp. It functions beautifully, and makes a significant difference in ease of charging your rifle. I'll eventually get another one for my PTR-32. Easy to install, BTW. Don't be afraid of the spring, just take your time. Center the pin using a punch.

This is one of the least expensive and most useful modifications you can perform on your new CETME/G3 family firearm. It's a fidgety pain to install any one of these in any gun, but the difference in ergonomics is 100% worth it. The longer and wider handle allows you to charge the bolt much more aggressively in a more gross-motor-skill fashion without significantly increasing the bulk of the firearm, and more importantly, without bruising your palm. The longer lever allows for better positive extraction when clearing malfunctions, as well as better leverage if you're having trouble "breaking" the rollers loose from the trunnion. One of the most critical shortcomings of the G3/CETME family as a fighting weapon or as a match weapon is the catastrophically slow reloads. Let's be real; it's a design based loosely on a last-ditch German WW2 weapon and following much of the same design language. It's a great weapon, but it can use all the help it can get where speed is concerned. This charging handle improves the experience to about the same degree as adding a paddle release to a US non-NFA gun. Don't forget to add a new cocking handle spring. You probably won't ever want to take this part of the gun apart again, and it is absolutely worth the extra $5 not to have to. TL;DR - If you can only choose one thing to do to your rifle and it's not an optic, it should be this charging handle.
