This item is used to keep the barrel end or flash hider covered to prevent debris, water, etc., from entering the muzzle end while not in use. Each can be removed by hand or when the first round is fired with the cap installed. Each was the standard issue muzzle cover on all HK G3 German military rifles and can be utilized on HK and CETME's, but works on many other firearms that are not HK-related. Used German surplus but 100% functional.
