Returns & Exchanges

 

Returned as new

Any new part(s) that cannot be restocked as 100% new as they were shipped to you are considered used.

Used/Surplus parts are not eligible for return

All used, pre-owned & surplus items parts sales are final. All used parts will be listed as used/surplus within their individual description and or under the item description of that item. Please note: Since used/surplus parts are used these types of parts are sold as-is.

Defective Parts / Warranty

Although unusual & rare. Any defective or out of spec part will need to be addressed directly with the manufacturer of the product. We are happy to help put you in contact with the manufacture of the product to get the product replaced or fixed if under warranty by the company that makes the product directly.

APARREL

All clothing must be in NEW CONDITION, and can not have been worn or washed.
Hats are unreturnable.

Return Shipping

Shipping charges or return shipping charges are not eligible for a refund.

Restocking Fee

All approved returns or exchanges will incur a restocking fee of 20%, unless you have repurchased & it is equivalent to the original purchase price or store credit for the items is chosen.
We do offer a full in-store credit for new items that are returned for in-store credit.

14 Days to request an exchange or return

Requests for return, exchanges, or any other issues need to be made through the exchange/return e-mail portal with a staff member within 14 days of the order being shipped. HK Parts reserves the right to accept returns on a case by case basis. Used goods/items in any condition other than NEW are non-refundable.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RA)

No return will be accepted without a pre-approved RA# number or other permitted form such as an e-mail or verbal confirmation from the staff of HK Parts.

Used Items

For safety reasons no returns or exchanges on used parts.

We DO NOT ship to APO Boxes

Returns & Exchange Process

When submitting an RA request below. Please detail the reason for the return, detailing the reason and or issues you have with the item in detail so we can better help you. In most cases, we can help resolve the issue over the phone or with a quick e-mail.  Please be sure that you have read, understand, and agree to the return policy in detail above BEFORE requesting an RA ticket #.

Once I have an approved RA # where do I ship my return or exchange?

When sending us a return or exchange you must include your return ticket number or RA#, a copy of the original invoice, all e-mail correspondence, and please note any details of the return or exchange so we can quickly and efficiently handle your return as quickly as possible. The more information we have about the return or exchange the easier for us to expedite the request.

Packaging

Most importantly, be sure the return is packaged well and secured from damage during shipment. Please do NOT ship items in padded mailers or envelopes as they will be damaged or lost.
All items should be shipped back to us in a box or hard-sided packaging.
We are NOT responsible for lost packages or damaged items caused by mishandled shipping or improper packing. All returns will need to be returned in new condition to be eligible for return or exchange. No exceptions.

Tips for proper packing of the returned package:

  • Use cardboard box
  • Pack with care
  • Padded envelopes are likely to tear become crushed
  • A standard paper envelope will not survive the journey and will be lost
  • Generous packaging is better, try using newspaper, bubble wrap, etc
  • Use Quality Tape
  • Shake Test: If the item rattles around in the package the likelihood of damage increases exponentially. Please ensure the items do not rattle around in the package and are padded and shipped with care.
  • Use a carrier service with a tracking number or way to track the package

Return Package Damage or Loss

HK Parts is not responsible for lost or damaged items caused in shipping.

Ensure the package for protection.

  • Invoice/copy of the invoice
  • RMA # on the outside of the package
  • Contact information (if different from invoice)

  • Products Returning

If all the requested information and items are together the return/exchange will resolve faster.

When will the return be completed?

We process returns & exchanges as fast as we are able. They can take 7-10 business days to be fully completed. We will update you on the status of your return when it has been completed.

Returns and credits back to your credit card will be applied to the credit card that was used to make the purchase.

The Banks

Return refunds take between 5 to 10 business days.

Once we initiate your refund our credit card processing company immediately takes the money from our account.
The credit card processing company hands the transaction over to your bank.
Each credit card company or bank credits your account on their schedule.
Some credit cards immediately credit your account, but most take 5 to 10 days.

This is a process HK Parts has no control over. The banks set the rules.

Return refunds take between 5 to 10 business days.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

 

Purchases:

 

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.

 

Links To Other Web Sites:

 

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by HK Parts. HK Parts has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that HK Parts shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

 

Changes:

 

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

 

Purchase Orders:

 

We gladly accept purchase orders from police departments and government agencies.  Orders can be placed directly through our website using either the credit card or cashier’s check / money order option at checkout.

For purchases of items or quantities subject to legal restriction, please either contact us to provide proof supporting any applicable law enforcement or government exemption, or complete the “purchase order for law enforcement” form at checkout and we will contact you for such proof prior to fulfillment. 

 

We are unable to fulfill orders for legally restricted items based solely on information provided through the website.  

 

Shipping:

 

Most orders ship the same day the order is received.  In some circumstances, such as during the holiday season or for orders subject to possible legal restriction requiring our investigation prior to fulfillment, there may be a slight delay in shipment.

 

All heavy, oversized orders will ship through FedEx ground service unless other arrangements are made.  All other orders will ship through the United States Postal Service.  If you would like to request a different shipping method, please call us.

 

All expedited orders placed Monday through Friday before 2:00 p.m. MST will ship the same day unless investigation for compliance with applicable law is required.  If you need a shipment to arrive on Saturday or Sunday, please call us no later than 2:00 p.m. MST on Friday.  Absent special arrangement, expedited shipments will not be delivered on weekends or holidays.  

 

International Orders:

 

HK Parts will NOT ship outside the United States.  No exceptions will be made.

 

We can ship to your preferred US based licensed export company or you can also use the services of the following licensed exporter:

Important Export Restrictions:

 

Commodities, products, technologies, and services sold by HK Parts are subject to one or more of the U.S. export control laws and regulations enforced by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, or the U.S. Department of the Treasury.  It is unlawful and strictly prohibited to engage in conduct requiring a license or other approval without first obtaining such license or approval from the proper U.S. agency.  Such conduct may include, but is not limited to, the export or attempt to export or otherwise transfer or sell any commodity, product, technical data, or service outside of the United States or to any foreign party, whether abroad or in the United States.  Furthermore, U.S. law prohibits the sale, transfer, or export of items to embargoed or sanctioned countries or to persons or entities on the Department of State’s Debarred Parties List, the Department of Commerce’s Denied Persons List, and the Department of the Treasury’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to be aware of all embargoed and sanctioned countries, Debarred Parties, Denied Persons, and Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons. 

 

Having lawfully received commodities from HK Parts Inc., the buyer and entity and/or person(s) listed in “Ship To” (1) assumes all responsibility to further comply with the requirements imposed by all applicable laws, regulations, and administrative policies, and (2) certifies that it will so comply.  Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.

 

Violation of U.S. export control laws and regulations may result in criminal penalties.  HK Parts cooperates with law enforcement investigations into the export or transfer of items originally purchased from HK Parts.

Magazine and Regulated Items:

 

HK Parts complies with all federal, state, and local laws.  Magazines or other regulated parts will not be shipped to locations where they are prohibited or restricted.  Customers are responsible for knowing the law in their jurisdictions prior to purchasing any HK Parts products.  

 

By completing a purchase, you hereby certify that you have never been convicted of a felony, adjudicated as mentally defective, or committed to a mental institution.

 

The following restrictions apply to HK Parts sales.  This list is not comprehensive of all restrictions on sales, as potentially applicable federal, state, and local legal limitations are too numerous to include on our website.  Customers should not rely on the information below other than as a partial explanation of HK Parts’ sales policy; it is not intended to be a guide to relevant law.  Customers are required to ensure they are aware of and in compliance with all applicable laws prior to making any purchase.  If a customer places an order and HK Parts, in its sole discretion, determines that fulfillment of that order might violate an applicable law or regulation, HK Parts will not complete the order.  Customers placing illegal orders may be subject to liability regardless of whether HK Parts fulfills the order.  HK Parts cooperates with law enforcement requests for information regarding orders placed with HK Parts.

 

Sales Restrictions:

 

California: 

 

No large-capacity magazine sales.  Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

 

No repair or magazine rebuild kits will be shipped to California.

 

Additional local laws apply to certain cities and counties within California.

 

Colorado:

 

No large capacity magazine sales.  Magazines are limited to 15 rounds.

 

Connecticut:

 

No large capacity magazine sales.  Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

 

Purchaser must provide a copy of a valid state-issued pistol permit, long gun certificate, or ammunition certificate and a driver’s license.

 

Hawaii:

 

Pistol magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

 

Illinois:

 

No sales of magazines to purchasers within Chicago city limits.

 

Purchaser must provide a current copy of FOID card and state photo identification.

 

Maryland:

 

No large capacity magazine sales.  Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

 

All sales must be through a licensed dealer.

 

Additional local laws may apply to certain cities and counties within Maryland.

 

Massachusetts:

 

No large capacity magazine sales.  Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

 

New Jersey:

 

No large capacity magazine sales.  Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

 

New York:

 

No large capacity magazine sales.  Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

 

Ohio:

 

Magazines are limited to 30 rounds.

 

Vermont:

 

No handgun magazines over 15 rounds.

 

No long gun magazines over 10 rounds.

 

Washington, D.C.:

 

No large capacity magazine sales.  Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

 

Law Enforcement & Qualified Military Personnel Exceptions:

 

HK Parts is proud to serve law enforcement and qualified military personnel.  Exceptions to the aforementioned geographic restrictions may be available with proper law enforcement identification.  Please call or e-mail to inquire about available discounts for large quantity orders.
