Returns & Exchanges

General Policy

  • New Parts: Only items returned in 100% new condition are eligible for return or exchange. Any item showing signs of use, installation, or damage to the part OR the packaging is considered used and cannot be restocked.
  • Used, Surplus, Blemished, and As-Is Parts: All sales of items listed as used, surplus, pre-owned, or blemished are final. These products are clearly identified in the product title or description and are sold as-is, with no eligibility for return, exchange, or refund.
  • Apparel: Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, and in new condition. Hats are not returnable.
  • Defective Parts / Warranty: Defective or out-of-spec components are eligible for return through our Return Portal. If you have questions regarding the function or operation of any parts not manufactured by H&K or HK Parts, please contact the manufacturer directly for technical support.

Return Requests

  • All requests must be submitted within 14 days of shipment.
  • Returns are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and require prior approval with an RA# (Return Authorization Number).
  • Requests without an RA# will not be accepted.

Fees & Refunds

  • Restocking Fee: Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, unless exchanged for store credit or a repurchase of equal value.
  • Shipping Costs: Original and return shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Refund Timing: Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or credit card provider. HK Parts has no control over these timelines. If your refund has not appeared after this period, please contact your bank or card issuer directly.
  • Store Credit: Eligible new items may be returned for full store credit, which can be applied toward any future purchase.

Return Instructions

  1. Obtain RMA#:
    • Request an RA# through our Return Portal here: Returns
  2. Prepare Package:
    • Include RA#, a copy of the original invoice, and any correspondence.
    • Pack securely in a cardboard box. Do not use padded envelopes.
    • Use bubble wrap, newspaper, or other packing material to prevent movement.
    • Use a carrier with tracking. HK Parts is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

Please Note: We recommend you insure your shipment to protect yourself from the carrier losing or damaging the shipment.  HK Parts is not responsible for any loss or damage to returned merchandise that is the responsibility/fault of the carrier.  If a shipping claim should arise from a returned shipment, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to process the claim.

You have 21 days from RA# issuance to have your return delivered back to HK Parts.

Return Processing

  • Returns are processed within 7–10 business days of receipt.
  • You will be contacted once your return has been reviewed and completed.
  • Approved refunds are applied to the original payment method or issued as store credit, depending on the circumstances.

Purchases

To help prevent fraud, all orders must include accurate billing, shipping, and payment information. To protect our customers and our business from fraudulent activity, HK Parts verifies billing, shipping, and payment information on all orders. If additional verification is required, customers may be contacted to confirm details before an order is processed. Orders with unverifiable or inaccurate information may be delayed or canceled at our discretion. If we are unable to verify order details with the customer, the order will be canceled. HK Parts is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided at checkout.

Price Matching

  • HK Parts will retroactively honor sales pricing if the item was purchased within 7 days prior to the item being discounted on our site.
  • HK Parts will match competitor’s published pricing when possible as determined on a case-by-case basis. Immediate exceptions include products that are advertised at a cost below the manufacturer’s MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) or are below a minimum profit margin threshold.

Coupons:

HK Parts does not offer coupons. Any coupons found online are not affiliated with HK Parts and are merely clickbait. To purchase parts at a discount, please create an account and sign up for our Rewards Program.  You can also join our mailing list to be the first to know when we offer our parts on sale.

Shipping

  • Most orders ship by the next business day, though processing may take longer during peak times or if additional verification is required. A tracking email is sent as soon as the order has shipped.
  • Oversized/heavy orders usually ship via FedEx Ground or USPS.
  • Expedited orders placed before 2:00 p.m. MST ship the same day (M–F). Weekend/holiday deliveries require special arrangements.
  • If you have an issue with delivery or shipping after your order has left our warehouse, please contact the carrier you selected at checkout directly.
  • Packages marked as “Delivered” but not received:  If the carrier has marked your package as “Delivered” but you cannot locate it, please follow these steps as we are unable to assist in locating packages once they have been released to the carrier:
    1. Check the shipping information you provided during checkout to confirm accuracy. Contact the carrier immediately if you notice any errors in the delivery address.
    2. Check around the perimeter of the delivery address in case the carrier hid the package from plain view. Check with neighbors in case the carrier delivered incorrectly or a well-intended person grabbed the package on your behalf to prevent theft.
    3. Contact the carrier and if available, request GPS coordinates of the exact location the package was delivered to.

International Orders:

HK Parts will NOT ship outside the United States.  No exceptions will be made.  

If you would like to purchase parts to be exported:

  • Parts must be legal to export to the destination country. Any attempts by a customer or freight forwarding company to export HK Parts' goods illegally is subject to prosecution (See “Important Exportation Restrictions” below)
  • We can ship orders to your preferred US-based licensed export company or you can also use the services of the following licensed exporter: Global Defense Trade Network.

Important Exportation Restrictions:

Commodities, products, technologies, and services sold by HK Parts are subject to one or more of the U.S. export control laws and regulations enforced by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, or the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It is unlawful and strictly prohibited to engage in conduct requiring a license or other approval without first obtaining such license or approval from the proper U.S. agency. Such conduct may include, but is not limited to, the export or attempt to export or otherwise transfer or sell any commodity, product, technical data, or service outside of the United States or to any foreign party, whether abroad or in the United States. Furthermore, U.S. law prohibits the sale, transfer, or export of items to embargoed or sanctioned countries or to persons or entities on the Department of State’s Debarred Parties List, the Department of Commerce’s Denied Persons List, and the Department of the Treasury’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be aware of all embargoed and sanctioned countries, Debarred Parties, Denied Persons, and Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons. 

Having lawfully received commodities from HK Parts Inc., the buyer and entity and/or person(s) listed in “Ship To” (1) assumes all responsibility to further comply with the requirements imposed by all applicable laws, regulations, and administrative policies, and (2) certifies that it will so comply. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited. 

Violation of U.S. export control laws and regulations may result in criminal penalties. HK Parts cooperates with law enforcement investigations into the export or transfer of items originally purchased from HK Parts.

As-Is Items

“As-Is Items” refers to any product identified as used, surplus, pre-owned, blemished, clearance, or discontinued. These items are clearly marked in the product title or description and are sold as-is, meaning all sales are final and they are not eligible for return, exchange, or warranty. Some As-Is Items may be created as one-time listings to sell through limited stock that will not be restocked once sold.

Magazines & Regulated Items

  • HK Parts complies with all federal, state, and local restrictions.
  • Customers are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws in their state and locality before making a purchase.
  • In addition to state laws, some cities and counties may impose stricter restrictions.
  • Large-capacity magazines and other restricted parts will not ship to prohibited locations.
  • Exceptions may apply for law enforcement or military personnel with proper ID.

Law Enforcement / Qualified Military

HK Parts is proud to serve law enforcement and qualified military personnel.  Exceptions to the undermentioned geographic restrictions may be available with proper law enforcement identification.

Sales Restrictions (State Examples)

This list is not exhaustive and subject to change by state and local legislators at any time.. Customers must ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

California

  • Magazines limited to 10 rounds.
  • Magazine rebuild kits are prohibited.
  • Note: Additional local laws may apply.

Colorado

  • Magazines limited to 15 rounds.
  • Grandfathering may apply to magazines lawfully owned before July 1, 2013.
  • Note: Some cities and counties may enforce additional restrictions.

Connecticut

  • Magazines limited to 10 rounds.
  • The purchaser must provide a valid state permit/certificate and ID.
  • Note: Local enforcement may vary.

Hawaii

  • Handgun magazines are limited to 10 rounds.
  • Note: Additional local restrictions may apply.

Illinois

  • Rifle magazines limited to 10 rounds; handgun magazines limited to 15 rounds.
  • No sales of magazines within Chicago city limits.
  • Purchaser must provide FOID card and state ID.
  • Note: Other cities and counties may impose additional restrictions.

Maryland

  • Magazines limited to 10 rounds.
  • Sales must go through a licensed dealer.
  • Note: Additional local restrictions may apply.

Massachusetts

  • Magazines limited to 10 rounds (5 rounds for shotguns).
  • Note: Local enforcement may vary.

New Jersey

  • Magazines limited to 10 rounds.
  • Note: Local restrictions may apply.

New York

  • Magazines limited to 10 rounds.
  • The “7-round load” rule is no longer in effect, but the 10-round capacity limit remains.
  • Note: Some local jurisdictions may have stricter enforcement.

Ohio

  • No statewide magazine capacity limit.
  • The City of Columbus restricts magazines holding more than 30 rounds.
  • Note: Other cities may impose their own restrictions.

Vermont

  • Handgun magazines limited to 15 rounds.
  • Long-gun magazines limited to 10 rounds.
  • Note: Local restrictions may apply.

Washington, D.C.

  • Magazines limited to 10 rounds.
  • Ban upheld by courts; still in force.
  • Note: Local laws also apply.
