Universal Low Profile Scope Mount for HK MP5K, SP5K
This mount differs from our Regular 5.5" Long HK Low Scope Mounts in that it is slightly shorter in length and contoured at the front to allow more area between the cocking handle and the rail. This added space keeps the operator's hand from hitting the mount when cocking or placing the weapon in the "Safe" position. This product is a direct response from several Customs and Border Patrol Agents operating HK MP5Ks. All Heckler & Koch MP5s made after 2004 have much larger cocking handles than previous models as they went from a solid steel knob to an over-molded rubber on the same knob. This new mount gives the operator a minimum of 0.190" of clearance (in the shortest area) and an added nearly 1/2 an inch over our competitors in front of the rail. We have left in the 2 windows/slots cut in the top of the rail in order to see the serial numbers on HK MP5K's, SP5K's and other variants.

Great mount
This is an outstanding mount for many red dots or prism optics. The cut outs for serial number viewing are a great touch, and the front nose is beveled/sloped to prevent crashing your knuckles into hard angle pic rail. Nice design. One thing to note is that if you're running an older eotech 5XX series (AA batteries) you'll have to run it very far forward due to the eotech attachment interfering with the claw mount points (this mount is truly VERY low profile). Therefore the 5xx series of eotechs will extend far enough to be an annoyance with the cocking handle usage. More modern XPS/EXPS Eotechs will be just fine and don't interfere with cocking handle usage at all.

I'm glad I chose this mount from MFI, It seems to be slightly lower profile than the mount that came with my Century AP5-P. You can see the serial numbers, which is cool. Two things I like about it over other mounting solutions: it extends further back towards the rear sight mount, allowing my to mount my optic closer to my eyes. Second, it's so much easy to install because the mounting brackets aren't separate from the rest of the mount.
