The machining and finish looks great but I found one of the pegs to be off toward the inside of the plate by 0.12mm, which prevented mounting my Vortex Venom which had previously been mounted on another weapon and had fit correctly. Not a show stopper but kind of surprising. I had to carefully file the inside edge of the peg and then the optic would fit. Of course this removed the finish as well so I colored it with a black marker.

Will I need a sight push for this or will it slide into place easily?

This is my first attempt at mounting a red dot on my HK VP9SK. The mount arrived quickly and installed easily. It slid into place without a sight pusher easily locked in with the mounting screws. However, this mount is not compatible with the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro I purchased in two ways. First, the corner pins did not align with the holes in the base of the sight. I ended up grinding down all four corner pins. Then I found the holes on the mount were to small to accommodate the M4 .7x15.8mm torx screws Leupold uses to affix the sight to a mounting plate. I'll re-tap the holes (or tap new ones). Given I didn't want to spend $300 and I'm not afraid to learn a wee bit of gunsmithing, I'm determined to make it work.
