HK, Walther, Umarex 416, Colt M4 or MP5-A5 .22 Barrel Adapter With Thread Protector - M8 X.75 to 1/2 X 28
The finest thread adapter available that converts the factory thread pitch to 1/2 X28. Each adapter comes with a new O-ring (red) & built-in wrench slot. This custom adapter allows you to simply unscrew the stock flash hider and quickly and effortlessly convert the barrel to 1/2X28 threads.
This adapter can be mounted permanently & provides the perfect index without any loss or deviation of zero. This is the lowest profile and factory correct mount that you can get.This is the one & only adapter made for the Umarex HK 416D & Colt M4 & MP5-A5 .22 style rifles.
Each adapter comes with a fitted thread protector for protecting the exposed 1/2 X 28 thread when a flash hider, comp, or suppressor is not in use. This is a must-have for those that want to use a sound suppressor or other muzzle device. This part is made in the USA and is only available here at HKParts.net.

Note: Not for use with the GSG-5 as the GSG5 models have 1/4 X 28 threads
**if you have a newer model of the 416 .22LR, your threads may already be a 1/2 x 28 and this will not be needed**
Technical Note: The O-ring on the adapter takes a lot of wear as you screw and unscrew different devices. We highly recommend purchasing spare O-rings for it,

Corrected barrel alignment which was off due to a bad O-ring at the base (barrel end) of the adapter. Advice: Keep an extra O-Ring on hand. Did not know they were available individually, but that's my fault.

Adapter itself is well made, the red o ring that comes on it seems to thick, when tightened using 2 fingers it crushed and split the o ring 1st time. The spare black ones I purchased with it seem to work much better.
