Description

HK 416 .22 & Colt M4 -  .22 Match Trigger Spring Kit - Set of 3 Enhanced Springs:

The HK Parts Match drop-in spring upgrade set will enhance your HK 416's trigger pull to an even smooth, crisp, and lighter pull that will promote better control, which in turn promotes consistent accuracy. This is accomplished by dropping the trigger pull of your HK 416 .22 by an average of ~3 pounds. Each three part precision calibrated match spring set will deliver consistent force through the entire compression/release cycle to give you a lighter, refined trigger without sacrificing the reliability of your rifle. The high strength aerospace-grade springs are carefully made to ensure that you get consistent energy output every time you pull the trigger. You can also be assured that this spring set up will not degrade the ignition systems reliability in your firearm. This is the cheapest and best way to upgrade your HK 416 .22 firearm. Read the many reviews and see for yourself that this is the best upgrade you can get.

  • Reduces trigger pull by 3 +/- Lbs.
  • Provides a consistent, crisp trigger pull
  • Drop in spring kit that requires zero gunsmithing and a breeze to install

The HK 416 .22 LR was made to have fun with, and this spring set will make putting rounds down range a lot more fun! The match spring set can drop it to 4 lbs 6 .oz, or go to 4 lbs 8 .oz in the heaviest scenario. As measured The average I got was 4 lbs 5 .oz on the HK 416 .22 with the new match spring kit, and 7 lbs 10 .oz average with the stock springs in place.

  • Match trigger return spring
  • Match sear pressure spring

Excellent performance upgrade, YMMV regarding difficulty

Posted by Matthew Strickland on 2nd Nov 2024

This is a great upgrade at any price and dramatically improves the trigger, just be aware that your technical skills and personal tendencies toward becoming frustrated may be challenged by the procedure. Are you a technical person? If so, it probably won't feel like a huge chore. Are you very definitely NOT a technical person? You might want to get someone who is, depending on how easily frustrated you get doing unfamiliar and delicate work. On the other hand, if you're curious and patient, it's probably not a bad first job to get into it.

HKP HK 416, COLT M4 .22 MATCH TRIGGER UPGRADE SPRING KIT

Posted by Karl Rossman on 29th Apr 2024

installed on a Hammerli TAC R1 .22 rifle. It took me about 10 tries to get the hammer/trieger group back together. Im very happy with the results. It took the gritty break considerably. Haven't measured the revised trigger pull but I'd say 4.5lbs is about right.

    Necessary upgrade - TAC R1

Posted by Rick on 27th Dec 2023

The horrible trigger pull was completely fixed with this upgrade. ...but... don't believe what anybody tells you about how "easy" the install is. I was eventually able to do it myself, but you really need 3 hands, and a cat to chase down the parts flying all over the place.

Spring kit is a little finicky to put in. Totally worth it for the upgraded trigger.

Pretty straight forward. If you?ve never done this the video they provide is enough guidance that someone who is clueless about firearms can do it. Trigger pull is definitely smoother. Haven?t gotten out to shot it yet.

After reading the reviews I bought this kit. The factory trigger on my HK416 was pretty heavy although I don't have a gauge to measure it. After installing the kit I would say it reduced the pull weight by at least 1/3. I don't know that it changed the take-up or overtravel but the trigger feels much smoother and more controllable. As others have said there are some things to pay attention to. The excellent video shows a pot metal trigger housing and talked about the four nuts that back up the housing screws falling out. On my 2022 vintage 416 the housing is plastic and is threaded for the housing screws - no separate nuts. Also, the housing screws on my gun are a small Torx head screw - not a socket head cap screw. So you will need a Torx driver set. There is some fiddling required to maintain the geometry and proper position of the hammer, sear, and trigger. And the pivot pins for the hammer and sear don't necessarily want to stay in place so you have to pay attention that the inner end of both pins is in the hole in the trigger housing. The video shows it and I too had to rock the trigger to straighten it so that the near end of the pin also goes into the hole in the trigger housing. And the loose nut that accepts the grip screw also wants to reposition and fall out if you tilt the not fully assembled housing. I did the work down inside a MTM rifle cleaning stand. I would certainly recommend doing all the trigger housing work inside a shallow open box lined with a white towel inside. This is always a good idea to capture dropped or spring-loaded small parts that might otherwise get lost. None of the above is meant to discourage anyone from installing this kit themselves. If you have ever done any AR work or are handy with tools you can easily follow along with the excellent video and do this work. Just be patient and pay attention to how the inside of the trigger housing looks when you disassemble it. All in all an excellent products with thorough and easy-to-follow instructions, and a rewarding result!

This fit perfectly in my HK416 22lr. For those wondering if it will fit in the 416s with the plastic trigger group housing, it will. The installation steps are the same.
