HKP .45 ACP Titanium Thread Protector - Threaded 16x1 LH

This new style .45 ACP tactical thread protector fits all HK45 full-size and compact barrels with 16x1 LH threads. Essential for protecting your threaded barrels and exposed threads, it preserves your HK pistol investment.

Each protector features a built-in O-Ring for a secure fit, preventing it from coming loose, and a crown shield to safeguard the exposed barrel end. Using this thread protector prevents thread damage and enhances the appearance of your HK pistol, as HK does not include a protector with the pistol.     It works, however I?m not a huge fan of the lip that borders the bore of the barrel, I do own several of these and have never had a issue but I prefer the factory protector that has no lip, it just seems to make more sense to not have something Unnecessarily close to the exit point of the bullet. but again if you want a cool color or like that look, hkparts is the only alternative to factory in my opinion. Overall good product.

    Only docked it one star because out of the 2 I bought, one had some slight discoloration on the end ...

    Only docked it one star because out of the 2 I bought, one had some slight discoloration on the end and also not sure if it's designed this way but both thread protectors screw on smooth for about halfway then they meet a little resistance until tight. I know I'm not over screwing it and I can also tell I'm not damaging the threads. It's not scraping or anything, feels like it's meeting a rubber washer. So possibly designed that way to prevent the protector from spinning off while shooting.
