The H&K VP9 A1 Series

Heckler & Koch just raised the bar again. For the first time, they’ve released two new VP9 models at once — introducing the VP9A1 F (Full-Size) and VP9A1 K (Compact). These aren’t just minor updates. They’re modernized takes on an already trusted platform.

VP9A1 F vs. VP9A1 K

    • Barrel Length:
      VP9A1 F – 4.5 inches
      VP9A1 K – 4.09 inches

    • Grip Size:
      VP9A1 F – Full-length for max control
      VP9A1 K – Mid-length for concealment

    • Magazine Capacity:
      VP9A1 F – 17+1 (ships with 17 and 20-round mags)
      VP9A1 K – 15+1 (ships with two 15-round mags)

    • Flared Magwell: Included on both models for quicker reloads

  • Slide Width: Slightly wider slide profile due to new release system

Key Upgrades & Features

+ Improved Grip Ergonomics

Finger grooves are gone. That means a cleaner frontstrap that fits more hand sizes. Grip panels and backstraps now offer 54 configurations (up from 27) for dialed-in control.

+ Flared Magwell

Reload faster and smoother under pressure. Both models include a factory flared magwell.

Nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar cuts pre-travel friction. That means a smoother break and a cleaner feel — no break-in required.

Every VP9 A1 slide is factory-milled and includes a filler plate. Whether you’re running irons or a red dot, it’s ready out of the box.
