The finest mounting solution to properly mount your RDS on your MP5 or any other receiver that utilizes the same style mounting system. With our 3 piece optic mount, it makes installation a breeze. No need to damage your receiver by prying the mount off. Our mount is the perfect height to co-witness your RMR with your front sight post. The best solution for a quick red dot indicator and the ability to still be able to use the front sight post if the RMR fails. CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and Cerakoted for the best finish possible. Installs in a couple of minutes with the supplied hardware for a fast and easy installation.

The HS507C X2 is an open reflex optical sight designed for full-sized pistol applications. The HS507C X2 improves on previous versions by adding lock mode, which was first introduced in our 2018 LEM pistol optic models. Lock Mode, when activated, locks the buttons preventing inadvertent setting changes. 50K battery life, Solar Failsafe, Multi-Reticle System, and Shake Awake. The durable housing is made from 7075 Aluminum, uses an industry standard footprint, and houses the 1632 battery in a side-mounted tray for easy replacement when needed.

First 100 Rounds Excellent
Got this for my AP5. Wanted a minimal mount-optic combo that could co-witness with the iron sights, and this looked perfect. Mounting the optic onto the mount took mere seconds with the included screws and tool. Mounting to the AP5 took about 5 minutes. I unscrewed and removed the mounting brackets, gently fit the mount onto the AP5, reattached the brackets and tightened the screws, done! I added just a dab of blue thread lock and hand tightened until snug (torque specs would be useful). Let the thread lock set overnight. Next day test fired 100 rounds of FMJ ball ammo, a mix of 115 and 124 grain, suppressed and unsuppressed. Optic and mount remained solid. Sighted the optic for 25 yards from a bench and was on paper first shot, adjusted and zeroed in 6 shots. Out to 50 yards all rounds were inside a 6-inch disc, standing, kneeling and prone. Not the greatest marksman mind you, but this sure was an improvement over iron sights alone, especially with my vision. Found co-witnessing with rear site drum adjusted to largest aperture provided best sight picture and widest view of optic and dot. Love it, highly recommended.
