This item can be added as an option on the HK MR762 & HK712/G28 E1/E2 Stock. Providing you an option to use either the concave or convex style buttpads for different mission requirements. The Bowden wire retainer is used to work as a lanyard for the buttpad to prevent the buttpad from loss while accessing the storage compartment.
