Even on HK SP5K's the receiver shelf interface has to be filed down, and includes an instruction sheet stating so. If you have a clone like me (AP-5P) expect to do a lot of filing, I had to shave off over a millimeter. Also, this safety does not engage unless the hammer is cocked so unlike the stock pack, cock the hammer back move the selector up to the 12 o'clock position for removal. Even with the hammer back I found it extremely hard to push the selector to the 12 o'clock position the first time. When it finally came out the machining on the selector rod appeared pretty rough. Overall I enjoy the ergonomics better than the stock, with an easier to reach selector and more comfortable wrist angle. The selector is easier to move, but perhaps a little too easy to blow past semi into binary. People with genuine HK SP5K's will probably rate this higher and have less problems than I did.
