HKP MP5 9mm Reverse Stretch Pistol Build Kit - Complete

I ordered this kit with advice from a friend. He will be the same person to build it. he looked over the parts and stated everything looked top quality and that he will be ordering one also to build for himself. I will add a finished review and pictures at a later date when its completed.

Had an issue with the receiver flat and the contact piece was missing from the kit. Both issues were solved faster than me needing the parts. Build went together well with zero issues on test fire with 3 different KCI magazines. The flat needed expected cleanup and fitment of parts, particularly the magazine catch. All of the holes in the flat are minimal tolerance and most need a minor bit of enlarging with a properly sized metric drill bit or reamer. Magazine catch and front sight triple frame did not have standard taper holes for roll pins, but that is easily remedied. That's honestly the ugly part of everything with this kit. The flat rolled and welded nicely without any need for a straightening jig. The barrel pressed into the trunnion as expected. Paddle mag release installed nicely with no rattle. It took the expected amount of effort to assemble, and not anything extra.

Great kit, everything is included and I didn't have to spend extra time de-milling the parts. It was missing the weldement kit, but stuff happens, the important thing is their excellent customer service took care of it and got me the missing parts within a few days. I can really appreciate a company that is so willing to fix a mistake to give me the best service possible. I will definitely buy from HKparts again (already have).
