Excellent, but could be better
First of all, this flash hider looks great and is solidly built. Hats off to HK Parts for coming up with this great idea for a product. Where it falls short is the execution: It does not screw onto the 1/2x28 threads as I expected. Instead, in order to install it, the user needs to use the HK/Umarex supplied wrench to remove the 1/2x28 thread adapter and the fake Tri-lug ring. It then screws directly to the now exposed M8 x .75 threaded barrel. IMO, it would have made much more sense to thread it in 1/2x28 so that it would be easier to swap to a suppressor and back. Is it a deal breaker? No, but it could have been better IMO. I f there is a reason that it was designed this way, I would love to hear it.
