HKP HK P30/P30S Comp Weight™ Quick Detach Compensator - Black

First I was sceptical and was checking this comp.and visiting site more than few times. I just thought alu.comp. would be just to light but I was wrong. My p30 with it feels like a different gun soft shooting and so flat.comp. really makes difference you can instantly feel.You still gonna need couple of wrenches to loose screw on the side in order to slide it on the rail and on the bottom to finally tighten whole comp.in the place securely (side + bottom) otherwise it might very quickly become "quick detach ". All in all great product I love it.

I love the feel and look with the compensator finally installed. My only issue, it was not very easy to get on the pistol. The groves matched between the compensator and the picatinny rail but it does not easily slide into place like the compensator in the video. This was a real struggle which required some WD-40 and light tapping with a small mallet.

After a lot of back and forth with myself, I decided to purchase this for a bit more weight on and to help with my accuracy with my HKP30. I have to say it gives the P30 a really nice look that you will immediately appreciate. The finish of the compensator looks great against the slide. The added weight which is noticeable, gives an already solid pistol and even better feel performance wise. This is a functional compensator, so that added weight shows up in your accuracy almost immediately. My only point of contention is this thing was not easy to get on the pistol. The groves match between the compensator and the picatinny rail but they fit was not intuitive. It does not easily slide into place like the compensator for the P30L, if you watch videos of that guns compensator. This was a real struggle. To the point where I checked the box to make sure I receive the correct product. It did wear down my rail a bit near the front before it would slide into place. Not an issue for me but you might take issue with this if you're is just as tight a fit as mine was. However, I don't plan on taking this thing off, unless I need to clean the gun and I shouldn't need to because of where this things sits on the pistol. Yes it requires no additional tools beyond an Allen wrench but get ready to use some elbow grease, which is not packed in the box.
