Description

Angstadt Arms, Blastwave, Blast Diverter, 9MM, 3 Lug Attachment

Ideal for close quarters environments or shooting in teams, the Blastwave 3-Lug 9mm QD Blast Shield reduces concussive forces on the shooter and those nearby by redirecting the blast down-range. It offers quick detach compatibility with all 9mm barrels through the universal 3-lug interface. That means you can go from shooting suppressed to unsuppressed in seconds without sacrificing shootability. Pair the 3-Lug 9mm QD Blast Shield with any of our Tri-Series muzzle devices for an even better experience! Direct concussive forces down range and away from the shooter! The Blastwave 3-lug blast shield works with any 9mm 3-lug attachment and allows for quick detachment when using a sound suppressor

Features:

  • Made from hardened steel with a black nitride finish
  • Attaches via universal 3-lug mounting interface
  • Pairs perfectly with the factory Angstatd 3-Lug Flash Hider and 3-Lug Muzzle Brake

Specifications:

  • 1.33" outer diameter (easily fits inside all Angstadt Arms handguards!)
  • 2.5" long
  • 6.5 oz

Please note: That on some 3 lug barrel attachments or tips you must remove the thread protector or slightly modify the blastwave 3 lug engagement area to solid lockup and fitment.

Had to file on the inside of the muzzle device in order for it to pass over my sp5 tri-lug. It was a little work but if you?ve ever done any minor gun smithing you should be just fine.

Just wanted to update that this did fit my AP5-P. It needed a little extra force the first time going on, so it's a tight fit, but it seems to work fine. I was able to continue to use the thread protector that came with the firearm with this attached. Pretty cool attachment for those of us currently without a suppressor.
