With this adapter, you can use your existing metal backplate, standard G3 buffer, and your choice of stock to add an AR15 stock to your HK firearm. This part is a perfect compliment for those who want to use an AR-15 stock on your HK rifle or SBR. I attached this stock adapter to my PTR 91 because the factory stock's length of pull was way too long for me (5'08") to use comfortably. Wow what a difference! I added a Magpul MOE stock and it feels like a whole different gun. The second shortest position is perfect and allows for a much better grip on the rifle. Also, it is low enough to still use the iron sights, however a cheek riser is needed for use with my optic. Installed in ten minutes and has a really solid feel. Super happy with the purchase and highly recommend for anyone looking to give their PTR a more comfortable LOP. Photo shows the difference in length at the fully collapsed position
