F5 MFG 50 Round MP5/MP5K 9mm Drum Magazine

While the drum magazine does fit inside the magazine well, [ open bolt ] While inserted the magazine feeder will not allow the bolt carrier group to fully close. However, I found out [ later ] That the feeding square tube needs to be filled to specs, in order to operate and or engage the bolt carrier group to feed correctly. So technically [ yes ] it does fit, but [ no ] it will not operate or cycle properly until it has been filled to the correct specifications. On a personal note; I did read where it did say, may have to mill unit in order for it to operate. I had every intention of returning this particular drum magazine back to the manufacturer, but think I'll find me a gunsmith instead. I'm curious to know how or what needs to be [ shaved ] or milled in order for this drum to work.

Mine Failed To Go Into My New HK SP5 And Failed To Go Into My New HK SP5K, As It Took A lot Of Work To Get It Down To The Proper Size And Now It Goes Into Both Weapons And Locks Up Tight And chambers Perfect. As I Do Not Know How The Other Reviews Say It Went Right Into There SP5’s ?? But It’s Just Another Awesome Product Sold By HK Parts. Thank You ! Kevin H.

I received this exceptionally well-constructed and engineered Drum Mag today and wanted to thank the Staff @ HK-Parts for the awesome service I received. Sal in the Tech Dept actually made sure of "proper fit" prior to purchase by testing the item on his Personal SP5 HK. More rugged than I expected works good so far.

This worked relatively well. It sits firmly in my sp5. I had one jam but it could be how I loaded it. Do one bullet at a time and it should fair better rather than throwing several in at a time. But i would still recommend it.

Awesome drum works great easy to load would recommend!

I really like this magazine. It locks up tightly. Feed excellently.
