    RCM are to spec

    Posted by tradewinds1978 on 6th Dec 2025

Don’t listen to the Guy that left a bad review with the PTR. Read about the PTR online and the complaints about them being out of spec, ask me how I know. Anyways if you have a gun that is made to spec this will fit perfectly, if you have a PTR most likely it will not. You’ll have to buy a RCM carrier to make it fit like me or mill it like that other dude.

    It works!

Good quality fits my SP5K PDW without any fitting needed. Bolt gap measured at 0.014 in. Have gone through only about 150 rounds. Both 147 gr and 115 gr suppressed would run flawlessly. Without a suppressor, 115 gr would not cycle, and 147 gr had no issues.

    It's a basis to start.

Locking peice did not fit my PTR 9k I has to mill the top and bottom and lathe the shaft to make it fit. The angle and locking peice was ok. After I did all that It actually worked. So unless you have a mill and lathe I suggest getting the oem hk if you can find it. 300 rounds with out a jam
