New, unissued Soviet civil guard gas mask, identical to the Russian military GP5, but with a grey mask instead of black. Stored by the Soviets for potential nuclear, biological, or chemical attacks, it was intended to be distributed to civilians in the event of an emergency. This listing is for the gas mask only — no bag or filter included. The mask is in excellent condition, made of soft rubber and ready for use. Some light corrosion may be present on metal parts, but overall, the mask is in perfect working order. These masks were produced during the 1970s and 80s, designed to protect the face, eyes, and respiratory system against chemical, radioactive, and biological agents.
