Enhanced Slide Plate Cover VP9, VP9 Tactical, VP9SK & VP40 - Black

Enhanced HK VP9, VP40 Alloy Slide Plate. This enhanced model cover has no firing pin viewing window and is machined to cover as MUCH surface area as possible to seal the firearm from dirt and debris. That can enter the VP pistol rendering the firearm unsafe and unreliable. A direct replacement for the cheap plastic slide plate that comes stock with your HK VP9, VP40. A great way to dress up and enhance your HK VP9, VP40 pistol. Made from CNC machined aircraft grade aluminum, hard coat anodized. A drop in part for your HK VP series pistol.

    While I believe that the indicator in the cap is a reasonable concept, it doesn't work for everyone....

    While I believe that the indicator in the cap is a reasonable concept, it doesn't work for everyone. Personally, I had a hard time seeing the red indicator and I wasn't too fond of an opening that would let the elements in. The slide cap fit perfectly in my VP9 tactical and I installed at the same time I installed the enhanced support sleeve. Pretty easy installation.

    It is surprising how must fuzz accumulates inside the slide when using the VP for daily carry. I saw this enhanced slide cover and ordered one. It is well made and a perfect fit. I had never done more than a routine cleaning on this pistol, so I watched a video on replacing the slide cover. It wasn't difficult, but a little more involved than just popping out the existing cap.

    Another product that should have came from HK factory! If you CC your VP, than need to ditch the factory indicator hole and upgrade to a non-hole slide cap. Your VP will be much cleaner and will ease your mind on if your VP is dirty or not when you need it the most.
