50 Round Drum HK91, G3, & PTR
The X-91 drum replicates the original HK G8 drum to give you 50 rounds of .308 power housed in a compact, aluminum body. The X-91 utilizes X Products’ ultra-compact single-stack coil system, delivering smoother feeding, reduced overall height, and improved balance. The result is a drum that is easier to handle, easier to store, and more dependable under hard use.
The drum body is precision die-cast aluminum for maximum strength and weight reduction, while critical internal components are CNC billet machined for consistent tolerances and long-term durability. The follower system utilizes high-strength glass-filled nylon engineered to withstand heavy cyclic loading and prolonged storage while maintaining reliable cartridge alignment and feeding.
Because the X-91 uses a die-cast aluminum body, minor cosmetic surface pitting or texture variations may occasionally be visible. These are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and do not affect function, reliability, or structural integrity in any way.
The X-91 is finished in a durable Cerakote ceramic coating that resists corrosion, abrasion, and harsh environmental conditions. Its self-lubricating internal design eliminates the need for oil or grease and allows the drum to remain loaded long-term without spring degradation or loss of reliability.
**Please note: this first production batch may exhibit minor casting porosity or small cosmetic pock marks in the tower area as part of the manufacturing process. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect function, fitment, or reliability.

Used both with PTR91 HK91 Ptr 308 PDW (pistol) and shot well, helps me "consume" 1000s of tracers at Arizona Sandy Machine Gun shoot out. Mags are OK, but the drums are more fun. Just don't drop the Skeleton drum in the sand! OUCH!

Once you have it loaded to 50 rounds you?ll have to lock the bolt open to get it to seat in the well. Easy to use once you get used to the way it fits in the gun. Not really heavy at all and makes it a part to have.
