I ordered this to upgrade my existing HK Parts Quick Detach Compensator for my HK45. I have a 6 inch Jarvis match barrel on my HK45 and thought this would improve the look and reduce muzzle flip. However, the compensator will not fit with any extended barrel; the compensators rear hole is too small for a barrel to pass through and even if it were able, another issue is the compensator's design fits so tightly around the barrel that it does not allow for any vertical movement. As soon as the gun fires and the barrel tilts upwards, its going to be impeded by the compensator and likely induce a jam. This compensator is designed only for STANDARD length barrels (any that are flush with the muzzle) I hope HKParts will take this feedback into account and potentially design/sell a version of this for HK45s with extended barrels.
