Enhanced Support Sleeve VP9, VP9SK & VP40 - Aluminum Alloy - SilverA must-have upgrade part for the VP series of pistols!The support sleeve is found in the VP slide and is the part that depresses to allow you to remove the slide plate, firing pin assembly, etc. The factory HK VP piece is made from polymer and can become damaged with moderate use. The HK Parts all metal upgraded enhanced support sleeve is made from aircraft grade, hard coat, anodized aluminum for easier identification & much longer durability. Much stronger, more durable than the factory polymer sleeve. CNC machined. Made 100% in the USA. No gunsmithing needed as this item is a quick 2 min swap and a drop-in replacement to the factory plastic sleeve.     I echo what Scott said in his review. "This is a great replacement firing pin support sleeve for the factory plastic part, that was surprisingly flimsy. I opted for the silver to make it easy to see when it gets dirty. Replacement takes less than 2 mins start to finish and only requires your hands and a small metal screwdriver. Highly recommend this part.

    This is a great replacement firing pin support sleeve for the factory plastic part, that was surprisingly flimsy. If you take down your gun after each use, like I do, then I recommend you replace it with one of these. I opted for the silver to keep it classy and make it easy to see when it gets dirty. Replacement takes less than 2 mins start to finish and only requires your hands and a small metal screwdriver. Just make sure you oil the part before putting it back in to ensure smooth easy action of the firearm. Highly recommend this part.
