The #18 LP is the factory correct locking piece for G3K style builds or other custom builds. The locking piece is the timing mechanism that a delayed roller lock firearm uses to tell the firearm when to unlock and cycle. Having the right degree or “timing” is critical in the function and cycling of the HK roller lock firearm such as the  G3K.
