Enhanced Support Sleeve VP9, VP9SK & VP40 - Aluminum Alloy - HK RedA must have upgrade part for the VP series of pistols!The support sleeve is found in the VP slide and is the part that depresses to allow you to remove the slide plate, firing pin assembly, etc. The factory HK VP piece is made from polymer and can become damaged with moderate use. The HK Parts all metal upgraded enhanced support sleeve is made from aircraft grade, hard coat, anodized aluminum in HK red for easier identification & much longer durability. Much stronger, more durable than the factory polymer sleeve. CNC machined. Made 100% in the USA. No gunsmithing needed as this item is a quick 2 min swap and a direct drop in replacement to the factory plastic sleeve. An attractive, worthwhile enhancement to the already world class HK VP series of pistols. Fits ALL models of HK VP series firearms.

This replacement for the plastic support sleeve is the first thing all VP9 owners should install. The plastic sleeve in my VP9 failed and the firing pin broke so make sure you install this sleeve right away. Quality machined metal that will prevent damage to your firing pin and springs.

I can't express how necessary this upgrade is for the VP9/vp9sk. The stock priece is cheap flimsy plastic. This is study aluminum and much better than the OEM parts. A worthwhile upgrade for the part.
