Fits: HK Style Front Sight Tower on Rifles and Pistols Made by PTR.  PTR front sights are very similar to HK front sights, but have a few differences and this model is made to take those into account.  (For Center-Fire Firearms - Does Not Fit .22 LR guns)

 

The Blitzkrieg Components Gen 2 HK Style Front Sight is a revolutionary approach to this iconic sighting system.  It provides a stunning sight picture, rapid & precise aiming and installs in a completely new way.  We also brought the sight face forward, toward the shooter, so that is is easier to see and not back in the shadows of the sight hood.  This model with a spike tipped post and the eye catching boldness of a circle dot tritium with a colored stripe below it is fast and easy to see.  The combination of a sharp aiming point, a big tritium dot and a glow-paint stripe is super easy to pick up in any lighting condition.  You will love the way this sight looks and how well you shoot with it. 

 

Installation has been completely re-engineered for our Gen 2 HK sight models to eliminate problems like sliding a nicely finished sight through a tight slot or hammering a roll pin through a new sight putting stress on it.  Now the roll pin is installed first, then the new sight is installed easily and securely by hand.  The roll pin is used as an anti-rotation device.  This new design also allows a new level of flexibility.  Once initial installation is complete, the shooter has the option of changing reticles by hand in less than a minute.  So if you want to change colors or try a new sight model in the future, installation is a snap. 

 

Made in the USA of billet machined 416 Stainless Steel with a black oxide finish a Tritium Dot with ring and a painted Lumi-Green Glow stripe. The Tritium Dot is supplied by Night Fision and has a green polymer ring around it. The painted stripe is a multi-layer paint application into a machined groove for optimal color, durability and glow characteristics.

Glow Characteristics:  The Luminescent (Glow) Green Stripe glows very bright when charged and the glow brightness dissipates gradually in darkness. The brighter and longer the light charge is, the brighter and longer the glow will be. Sunlight and Tactical flashlights give the best charge. Will glow very well after just a few seconds of charge.  Typically, in total darkness after being charged for about 5-10 seconds with a tactical flashlight, you can expect it to glow very bright for about 5 minutes, bright for about 20-30 minutes and at a lower level that is visible and useful to dark adjusted eyes for hours.  It also works very well when transitioning from bright daylight to indoors, a dark room or shade because it will appear very bright initially and as your eyes adjust to lower light levels, the glow dissipates gradually yet will still appear easy to pick up.  This color is a bright, contrasting yellow color in daylight designed to be easy to pick up against any type of background.  It provides a very bright, fast sight picture in any light.  This color has proven to be very effective and is well liked by many of our customers.  The painted stripe is a multi-layer paint application into a machined groove for optimal color and durability.
