Not a part anyone really thinks about until it shears. Mine sheared in a 3 position lower after about 4,000 rounds and needed to be replaced. The polymer extension on the top right as it's pictured here is what broke off. Ordered the replacement from HKParts and in no time I was up and running with an OEM HK component back in my lower. Thanks HKParts for keeping a good UMP inventory and thanks Teufelshund Tactical for the repair.
