Description
Tac Latch (latest Generation) PTR Spec - PTR .308 Firearms
The new updated style of Tac latch is made specifically for the PTR 91 .308 receiver and will require very little modification to the firearm for installation. A major overhaul of the existing design was done for the new PTR Tac Latch.
Please note: In order to install ANY Tac Latch model you need the original HK spec mag catch that has the flat side NOT the all-round mag catches found on some PTR models.
Please check before ordering. The mag catches we offer on the website for the G3,91 & PTR are the correct style. Many PTR models DO have the correct mag catch already so be sure and check your PTR firearm BEFORE ordering.
Please note: Due to the many variances of the PTR firearms through years of production, there may still be some slight fitting and mods required to some models in order for the Tac Latch to work with your particular PTR model. Commonly, the PTR spec tac latch will drop into your PTR and work as it should without any such fitting.

This mag release works like a charm and makes it a breeze to change mags one handed now. However, I had to do major fitting to get it installed. I have a very low number original run PTR-91 (Sub 300 low) and it required major grinding to the mag well shelf and the mag button hole to get the TacLatch installed. Easy install? No. Worth it? Oh yes. No regrets but it was a cuss fest,
