This item also has an aluminum 6" bottom rail added to the bottom of the wide handguard to allow the use of vertical grips, bipods, etc. This is a low profile forearm that still has the bottom rail addition. A great option for those that want a wide forearm and only one bottom rail without spending a bunch on a complete tri-rail system.
