This is the 60-degree locking piece that is used for high-impulse ammo, commonly found in +P or +P+ ammo. This locking piece is needed to cycle these hot loads without excessive recoil or impulse that can cause "Receiver Dimpling" or damage from too much energy during cycling. When using hot loads, the #25 locking piece should be used. The low # 24 locking piece should be used for standard loads with low to average impulses. This is a must-have for all owners that have an MP5 40 or 10-mm Firearm, no longer in production and special order only.
