The installation has been completely re-engineered for our Gen 2 HK sight models to eliminate problems like sliding a nicely finished sight through a tight slot or hammering a roll pin through a new sight putting stress on it. The roll pin is installed first then the new sight is installed easily and securely by hand.  The roll pin is used as an anti-rotation device.  This new design also allows a new level of flexibility.  Once the initial installation is complete, the shooter has the option of changing reticles by hand in less than a minute.  So if you want to change colors or try a new sight model in the future, installation is a snap.
