Needs 5 rail slots.
This is an awesome minimalist style riser that allows for immediate transition from optic to iron sights. But it needs 5 rail slots because most picatinny mounting systems for micro dots are single bolt. Without a center slot, any mounted optic is either hanging over the front or back. A 5th centered slot would allow for clean mounting of all optics.

Great Small Footprint Rail Mount
Attached firmly and securely on my full size Mac 5 clone without any modification. I prefer the small footprint and I like that I can still use the iron sights.
