The MOD 1 XL comp delivers the iconic look of our original rail mount comp but in our updated MOD 1 structure. Like all MOD 1 comps, the P30L XL adds the versatility of an interchangeable Picatinny rail or a delete plate. Experience an immediate reduction in muzzle flip and recoil, enabling you to get back on target faster than ever. The addition of a bottom heat dissipation port translates to a cooler barrel during those range days.
Constructed from high-quality billet aluminum and CNC machined right here in the US, HK Parts compensators are Cerakoted for a sleek, robust finish.

Nice Comp
Picked up one of these mainly for the look. I, personally, do not notice a lot of comp other than from the extra weight, but it makes the pistol feel better and looks awesome. Would have given it 5 stars, but one of the bottom screws stripped out before reaching the foot-pounds the install video said to use. Not a huge deal as I just re-threaded it to the next size up and used one of the bazillion screws I have laying around to make it work. But was a bit of an annoyance.

Great add on
This thing is great. Super easy to install. Fits like it was made for the gun (which it was). Gives it an incredibly mean look as well. Definitely adds more weight to it, but the intention is to reduce muzzle flip and recoil. I noticed a significant reduction in both after installing. I hear the threaded version is the best but mine doesn’t have that. Absolutely worth the cost.

I didn't read the description carefully so I didn't realize the comp comes with a rail delete bar.
