The HK Parts Build-Off Contest, referred to in these Official Rules as the "Contest," is sponsored by HK Parts Incorporated, 138 E 12300 S, Suite C #240, Draper, Utah 84020, referred to as the "Sponsor" or "HK Parts."

Eligibility

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry.

Each entrant must:

• Own the submitted build or have full legal authority from its owner to submit it.
• Be legally eligible to own or possess the submitted build and to receive and possess the applicable prize at the entrant's delivery location.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors and agents of HK Parts, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and suppliers, and the immediate family members and household members of each, are not eligible to enter or win. Immediate family includes spouses, parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings and stepsiblings.

Participation constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.

Contest Schedule

Sponsor's computer systems are the official timekeeping devices for the Contest. Sponsor may adjust the review, voting or notification schedule when reasonably necessary to administer the Contest, but will not shorten the published Submission Period.

How to Enter

During the Submission Period, visit the Contest entry form, provide all requested information and submit the required build photos and description.

Limit one submission per person for the entire Contest. A submission is considered received when Sponsor's system records a complete submission. Incomplete, late, corrupted, inaccessible or misdirected submissions are void.

No entry fee is charged. Internet access and an eligible build incorporating components from an HK Parts parts kit are required. The applicable HK Parts parts kit may have been purchased at any time.

Sponsor may request information reasonably necessary to verify that the submitted build incorporates components from an HK Parts parts kit. This may include the kit name, SKU, order number, receipt, photographs or identifying details. Failure to provide reasonably requested verification may result in disqualification.

Submission Requirements

Each submission must satisfy all of the following requirements:

• The build must incorporate components from an HK Parts parts kit purchased at any time.
• The entrant must submit at least three clear, original photographs showing the complete build and important details. Additional photographs may be submitted subject to the technical limits displayed on the entry form.
• The entrant must provide a truthful description of the build and the HK Parts kit or kit components used.
• Photographs must not display a visible firearm serial number, personal information, live ammunition or unsafe firearm handling.
• The build and all depicted components must comply with applicable federal, state and local laws.
• The submission must be the entrant's original work or be submitted with all permissions necessary for Sponsor to use it as described in these Official Rules.
• The submission must not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other right of any person or entity.
• The submission must not contain obscene, hateful, threatening, harassing, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate material.
• The submission must not promote unlawful conduct or depict conduct that Sponsor reasonably considers unsafe.

Sponsor may reject, remove, crop, blur, edit for formatting, or decline to display any submission or photograph that does not satisfy these requirements. Sponsor may blur or crop identifying information without changing the substance of the build.

HK Parts Review and Finalist Selection

During the review period, a panel selected by HK Parts will evaluate each eligible submission using the following scorecard:

The 11 eligible submissions receiving the highest total scores will become finalists, subject to verification.

If two or more submissions are tied for the final qualifying position, the tied submission with the higher Craftsmanship and Execution score will advance. If still tied, the remaining criteria will be compared in the order listed above. If a tie remains after all criteria are compared, the judging panel will conduct a final comparative evaluation using the same criteria.

Scores are used to select finalists and to resolve ties as expressly stated in these Official Rules. The community vote determines the grand-prize winner among the verified finalists.

Community Voting and Winner Selection

During the Community Voting Period, the 11 verified finalists will be displayed on the voting page. Voting is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 21 years old at the time of voting. Each eligible voter may cast one verified vote for one finalist during the entire Community Voting Period.

Limit one vote per person and email address. Sponsor may require email verification, CAPTCHA or another reasonable verification step. A person may not vote through multiple email addresses, identities, accounts, devices or other methods intended to exceed the voting limit.

Automated votes, purchased votes, votes generated through scripts or bots, votes obtained through false identities, vote exchanges, coordinated manipulation or other fraudulent or unfair methods are void. Finalists may share the official voting page and invite others to vote, but may not offer money, prizes, discounts or other consideration in exchange for votes.

The verified finalist receiving the highest number of valid votes will be the potential grand-prize winner. The remaining 10 verified finalists will be potential runner-up winners.

If two or more finalists are tied for the highest number of valid votes, the tied finalist with the higher preliminary HK Parts judging score will be the potential grand-prize winner. If the preliminary scores are also tied, the criteria will be compared in the order listed in Section 6. If a tie remains after all criteria are compared, the judging panel will conduct a final comparative evaluation using the same criteria.

Sponsor's vote records and determinations regarding vote validity are final. Vote totals shown publicly, if any, are unofficial until Sponsor completes its review.

Prizes

Grand Prize

One verified grand-prize winner will receive one HK MP5 Parts Kit - 10mm - Pistol, SKU HKP-18409, with an approximate retail value of $1,879.95.

The kit includes the components identified on the HKP-18409 product page at the beginning of the Contest. Product photographs may show completed builds, accessories or other items that are not included in the prize.

The grand prize is a parts kit and not a completed firearm. It does not include assembly, finishing, engraving, tools, ammunition, gunsmithing, compliance work, licenses, permits, taxes or any item not expressly identified as part of the kit.

HK Parts will pay standard shipping for the grand prize to one lawful delivery address within the United States. Expedited shipping, special handling and other expenses are not included unless Sponsor agrees otherwise in writing.

Runner-Up Prizes

Each of the 10 verified finalists who does not receive the grand prize will receive one single-use $100 HK Parts discount code for a future order at hkparts.net. Each code:

• Expires 90 calendar days after issuance.
• May be used once by the verified runner-up.
• Applies to qualifying merchandise and does not apply to taxes, shipping charges, gift cards, gift certificates or other non-merchandise charges.
• Has no cash value and will not generate cash, store credit or a refund for any unused amount.
• May not be sold, transferred, reproduced or combined with another promotional code unless Sponsor expressly permits it.

Prize Restrictions

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. Sponsor may substitute a prize or component with an item of equal or greater value if the advertised prize or component becomes unavailable.

Each winner is responsible for determining whether the applicable prize and its components may legally be received and possessed at the winner's delivery location. If a magazine or other component cannot legally be shipped to a winner, Sponsor may, where legally permitted and available, substitute a compliant component, install or provide a capacity-limiting device, require qualifying credentials or remove the restricted component. No cash or additional compensation will be provided for a component removed because of legal restrictions.

If a lawful substitution is not reasonably available or a potential winner cannot legally receive the applicable prize, that potential winner may be disqualified and Sponsor may designate an alternate winner based on the applicable selection method.

Actual prize value may vary at the time of award. Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and actual value will not be awarded. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and all expenses not expressly included in these Official Rules. Sponsor may issue any tax documentation required by law.

Winner Notification and Verification

Potential winners will be contacted using the email address provided with the submission. A potential winner must respond within five calendar days after Sponsor's initial notification unless Sponsor provides a different deadline in writing.

Before receiving a prize, a potential winner may be required to:

• Verify identity, age, residence and eligibility.
• Verify ownership of or legal authority to submit the build.
• Verify the use of components from an HK Parts parts kit.
• Confirm that the prize may legally be shipped to and possessed at the provided address.
• Complete an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and publicity release where permitted.
• Complete an IRS Form W-9 or other required tax documentation.
• Provide other information reasonably required to confirm compliance with these Official Rules.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond by the required deadline, fails to complete requested documentation, provides false information, is ineligible, declines the prize or cannot legally receive it, the potential winner will be disqualified.

If the potential grand-prize winner is disqualified, Sponsor may designate the finalist with the next-highest number of valid votes as the alternate potential grand-prize winner, subject to the tie-breaking procedure in Section 7. If a runner-up is disqualified, Sponsor may decline to award that runner-up prize or select the next-highest-scoring eligible submission that did not become a finalist.

A potential winner is not a confirmed winner until Sponsor completes verification. Sponsor is not responsible for notifications delayed, blocked, filtered as spam or made undeliverable by inaccurate information supplied by an entrant.

Submission Rights and Publicity

Each entrant retains ownership of the entrant's submission. By entering, the entrant grants Sponsor and its designees a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to reproduce, crop, resize, edit for formatting, publish, display, distribute and otherwise use the submission, including the photographs, build description and entrant's first name, last initial, city and state, for Contest administration, community voting, winner announcements, editorial coverage and marketing or promotion of HK Parts and future HK Parts contests, in any media, without additional compensation, notice or approval, except where prohibited by law.

This license does not authorize Sponsor to display a firearm serial number or other personal information that is not intended for publication. Sponsor may remove, crop or blur such information.

The entrant represents and warrants that the entrant has all rights and permissions necessary to grant this license. If another person photographed the build, owns the build or appears in a photograph, the entrant must obtain that person's permission before entering.

Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's name, city, state, likeness, submitted build, photographs and prize information for advertising, promotional and administrative purposes without additional compensation.

Conduct and General Conditions

Sponsor may disqualify an entrant, finalist, voter or potential winner who Sponsor reasonably determines has:

• Violated these Official Rules.
• Submitted false, incomplete or misleading information.
• Infringed another person's rights.
• Used multiple identities, accounts or email addresses to exceed an entry or voting limit.
• Used bots, scripts, automated systems, purchased votes or other fraudulent methods.
• Attempted to tamper with the submission, judging, voting or winner-verification process.
• Harassed another entrant, finalist, voter, Sponsor employee or Contest administrator.
• Acted in a manner intended to undermine the integrity or fair operation of the Contest.

Sponsor may audit submissions and votes and may require reasonable proof of identity, eligibility, authorship, kit integration or vote validity. Sponsor may invalidate votes or submissions that it reasonably determines are fraudulent, manipulated or noncompliant.

Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest if fraud, technical failures, legal restrictions, natural disasters or other circumstances beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impair the integrity or proper operation of the Contest. If community voting cannot be completed fairly, Sponsor may determine the grand-prize winner using the published judging scorecard from among the verified finalists or conduct a replacement vote, as Sponsor reasonably determines appropriate.

Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants, finalists, voters and winners agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents from claims arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession, assembly, use or misuse of a prize.

Sponsor is not responsible for:

• Lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, inaccessible, inaccurate or misdirected submissions or votes.
• Technical, internet, email, website, form, storage, image-upload or voting-platform failures.
• Unauthorized human intervention or fraudulent activity.
• Errors in processing submissions, scoring, displaying finalists, counting votes or communicating with participants.
• Injury, loss or damage resulting from participation or prize use.
• A participant's failure to comply with applicable laws.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Privacy

Information collected in connection with the Contest may be used to administer the Contest, review and display submissions, verify entries and votes, prevent fraud, contact and verify potential winners, fulfill prizes and comply with legal and tax obligations.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the HK Parts Privacy Policy. Entrants and voters may receive administrative email communications relating to submission receipt, finalist selection, voting verification, winner selection or operation of the Contest.

Entering or voting does not by itself provide consent to receive SMS marketing. Any promotional email or SMS enrollment offered in connection with the Contest must be optional and handled according to the consent language displayed at enrollment.

Disputes

Except where prohibited, participants agree that disputes arising from or relating to the Contest or these Official Rules will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, under the laws of the State of Utah.

Any claim or award will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering or voting. Participants waive claims for attorneys' fees, punitive damages, incidental damages and consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.

Social Media Disclaimer

If the Contest is advertised through Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube or another social-media platform, the Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with that platform. By participating, entrants release the applicable social-media platforms from claims arising from or relating to the Contest.
