Although other PTR-9 reviewers said it was a tight fit; the forward section is the tight part. I used a wooden dowel to pry it open just enough to slip it over the mounting hole. Worked very well. The look is nice, it feel solidly mounted and sturdy.

These fit a little tighter and have slightly rougher edges than OEM, but they are priced SO competitively that the imperfections are easy to overlook. I purchased a couple to experiment with and a final one for my direct-mount light and pressure pad.

While I like to keep major parts for my MP5 clone as authentic "German" as I can, some parts I can afford to buy aftermarket. Since this forearm is just a plastic piece, I didn't want to spend a fortune so I chose this one. While it was a little tight fitting it on at first, the forearm has properly worn in and comes on/off without any issue. Great product and super fast shipment by HKParts. Their customer service was spot on as well. Highly recommend this product if you want your MP5/Clone to have the John Mclaine nostalgia to it.
