This MP5 forearm is also known as the tropical wide forearm. Made from the same polymer material to factory HK specs in the US.

I own a HK Clone ( PTR) and decided why not to replicate the original HK. Easy installation, perfect fit.;only recommendation is be prepared to look for a locking nut to secure the threaded screw that anchor?s the guard in place. ( it comes without the locking nut where you can find at your local hard ware store. I haven?t gone out to get the nut so at the time Im writing this review, I can not provide the nut thread dimensions.

Bought this with a surplus Navy style SEF grip and this handguard has the same exact look and feel as the German original. Tight fit but easy install with a flathead screwdriver to slightly pry the push pin holes apart to slide on. Feels way better than the factory MKE retro grip and the thick plastic probably won't get as hot. Looks great on an MP5A5 build!

This looked good dining out of the package. There was a little bit of casting flash at the seems, but nothing major. The back end got well into the receiver, but the front was too tight to go over the handguard hanger. I sanded the inside slightly and it went on. It's on and very snug.
