Nice mount. Careful installing VP9 plate
Overall, I like this mount. Seems solid enough on my AP5 to work, but does feel a bit precarious with just using one set of lugs. One BIG warning is that the VP9 optics plate screws (I used the #8 plate) are too long and will impact on the top of your gun leaving marks and not being tight enough to hold the plate. I had to shorten them about 3 threads with a Dremel to get them to work. HKP should really include a set of screws that fit properly with this mount. Also, I have the windage maxed out to get the dot sighted in, so the mount does not seem to be centered very well. Other than that, I like the mount and it easily co-wittnesses with the irons. I like how the gun looks with the small pistol-size dot and it does work. I think the larger Midwest mount I had was more secure and aligned better with the receiver. Also the head position was taller and more comfortable (this is not the mount's fault, just the consequence of a low mount).
