Ultra Match drop-in spring kit will give your VP9, VP40 an even smoother, crisper, and lighter pull that helps promote consistent match-grade accuracy, and control, by dropping the trigger pull of your VP9, VP40 by an average of 2+ pounds.
Each two-part precision calibrated spring set will deliver consistent force through the entire compression/release cycle to give you a light, refined trigger without sacrificing the reliability of your pistols passive safety systems. The high strength match-grade springs were carefully made to ensure that you get consistent energy output every time you pull the trigger.
You can also be assured that this spring set up will not degrade the ignition systems' reliability. The VP9/VP40 is already among the top tier striker-fired pistol, and this spring set will offer even more to set the HK VP9, HK VP40 apart from the rest of the pack.

- Ultra Match Trigger Return Spring
- Ultra Match Sear/Catch Spring

Both springs are a direct replacement, drop-in springs. Our trigger return spring tool is a critical tool and a must-have when installing any trigger return spring in your HK firearm.
Please note that you can use just the sear spring only if you wish. No need to use the trigger return spring if you do not want to use the trigger return spring component of the set. The "short" leg of the trigger return spring will rest on the backside of the VP9 trigger when installed properly.

I installed this spring set with the Lazy Wolf F2 trigger. Tested my stock trigger before install @ 6lbs (5 tests and pull was never over 6lbs and was never under 5.7lbs). Tested after the install and it was consistent @ 4lbs (5+ tests and was never over 4.3lbs)

Install was easy; just watch the video of how it all comes apart and goes back together. And yes, while you could do it without the pliers, it made it so much easier that I was happy that I bought them. I don't have a trigger pull guage, but it is noticeably lighter. Very smooth, short reset, but not so light that I would be afraid to carry it for tactical situations. I'm glad I made the upgrade. Makes a really nice gun even better.

Replaced the Trigger Spring Product #: 1496900, but not the Sear/Catch Spring on the advice on my Army-Trained Armorer. Noticeably crisper trigger break. Wish I could have purchased the Trigger Spring alone w/o the $$ Sear Spring.

New Ultra Match spring set installed made my trigger job feel so smooth and light compared to factory settings. Reduced the pull weight from 5 1/4 lbs down to 3 3/4 lbs this made for a clean, light trigger feel and improved the overall performance of my shooting. I paired these springs with a LazyWolf flat trigger from HKParts.net along with fast delivery and nice customer service.

I installed these springs along with a Lazy Wolf F3 trigger and DPM Systems recoil reduction system, and they all function together, however the combination of the LW F3 trigger and the match trigger return spring resulted in a reset that felt a little mushy and had inconsistent and very light spring pressure. I swapped the return spring back out for the factory, and I'm just running the trigger, sear spring, and DPM system, and this thing runs like a beast. I've shot a few USPSA and 3-gun matches with it, and I definitely prefer the sharper and more positive reset I get with the OE return spring when running hard. This kit is worth it though even just for the sear spring. That and the LW trigger make this gun shoot well above it's class.
