It is recommended by the manufacturer to use 124+ Grain Ammunition for 9mm and 180+ Grain Ammunition for .40 S&W when firing these compensators for optimal performance.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a compensator and the fact that I could get it from HK Parts makes it even sweeter. I work in engineering and have to deal with tight tolerances all the time. The fit and finish of this compensator is spot on. Tight to slide on, but that?s what you want. Everything just lines up perfectly. The balance with a loaded magazine is near 50/50. I couldn?t be happier with the Hk Parts compensator.

Works exactly as advertised to reduce muzzle flip and keep you on target so that you can really get the most out of the excellent innate accuracy of the VPL9. Of the guns I own, the VP9L is most definitely my favorite and this compensator contributes greatly towards my love of it.

Love it. Looks amazing. Works well. Great quality. Only issue I have is HKparts nor anywhere else Yet make a holster that can fit the HK VP9L with the rail compensator attaches. Need a holster but impossible to find because they don?t exist.
