HKP MP5, SP5, HK94 Wide Forearm

I absolutely love the way this makes my AP5 look. The hand guard feels flimsy if you grip it hard from just your forehand. It bends and widens out more if you manipulate it around from just the front hand guard. I thought it would be similar to a rubbery grippy surface but it was a sleek polymer plastic feel. I?d love to have more grip/texture and a stiffer feeling grip. Other than those two complaints I would recommend.

I purchased this handguard for my AP5 and other than fitting a little snug, I had no problem installing it. It's also US made so it counts as one 922r compliant part. Thanks a lot H K Parts... Sam from Texas

Looks great on my AP5! Combined with the SB tactical brace, this gives the gun a really nostalgic look and feel. Price is really affordable, other wide handguards are going for 2-3x this price. Perfect for slaying any goa-uld invaders!

My Century AP5 came with the original skinny handguard. It doesn't feel good nor having the "movie MP5" vibe. This hand guard works perfectly and is very cheap. It does fit pretty tight especially up front. I cannot slide it on, I have to use a plier to crack it open a little. When it is mounted, this hand guard is very solid with nearly no movement. Great product.

Tight on the front of my AP5 as others said. I used a hair dryer to soften it a bit, went on fine. Some play at the rear but a small shim made from an o-ring super glued to the inside bracket that contacts the receiver solved that. Annoying casting spur underneath removed with careful filing and then a light overall steel wool to take off the sheen, and only an expert would be able to say it wasn't original HK. Or, you could pay $80 for a German one. I figure the 30 minutes I spent was worth $55. For a Form 1 NFA SBR build on a foreign pistol you need 6 US parts so this is one. Add a US trigger pack and a Magpul grip housing and you are at 6. You can now use German mags and stocks.

Excellent fit and feel on my new Century AP5!

The handguard fits my PTR 9CT very well. Very snug fit with now wobble or creeking when gripped.
